Thyroid Panel

The thyroid gland is an important endocrine/hormone releasing gland in the body. Thyroid problems – both clinical and subclinical are on the rise due to environmental endocrine disruptors as well as due to the natural aging process and aging population. Medically, a TSH blood test is done as a quick screen for thyroid function; however, this test alone may not be enough to complete the thyroid picture for many patients. A thyroid blood panel provides a more comprehensive look at the thyroid hormones. Common hypothyroid symptoms include: low energy, weight gain, depression, low motivation, hair loss, mood changes and more. See Questionnaire for complete list of Thyroid symptoms.
